The mayor of Condrița Andrei Donică decided to run for mayor general of the municipality of Chisinau on behalf of the sociopolitical Movement of Professionals “Speranța”. He informed about this through his Facebook page, IPN reports.

“With great pleasure, I will take part in this election campaign. I want indeed to say that there are great things, very big problems and very serious things in the municipality of Chisinau,” said Andrei Donică.

In his posting, Andrei Donică said that the current mayor of Chisinau behaves inappropriately towards the mayors of suburban settlements. Of the 140 million lei budgeted by the Chisinau Municipal Council for investments in suburbs for 2023, only 40 million reached the suburban settlements.

Also, Andrei Donică said the incumbent mayor of Chisinau lied to the pensioners and disabled persons who have waited for the promised 1,200 lei a year in assistance during these four years. He found money and signed an order to allocate by 1,200 lei this year to persons with disability degrees of the first level from Condrița village.
