The leader of the PDM Marian Lupu said the Cabinet will not include representatives of the PCRM. The Government will represent the political alliance between the PDM and PLDM. Lupu made such statements after the January 23 sitting of Parliament, IPN reports.
“Now that this political agreement was signed, we will support any proposal that will be submitted by the PLDM. We will not only vote, but, together with our colleagues from the PLDM, will do our utmost to normalize the situation and to approve the government program,” stated Marian Lupu.
He also said that no institutions, except the governmental ones, were distributed. “You will see the political agreement that does not have secret components,” he noted.
The Democratic leader also said that within the discussions with the PDM, they proposed depoliticizing not only the post of prosecutor general, but the whole prosecution service. “Real depoliticization is from up to down,” stated Marian Lupu.
The PLDM and PDM signed an agreement on the formation of a ruling alliance on January 23. The same day, the legislature’s administration and the Standing Bureau were elected by a majority of votes.
