Tragedy struck a family living in Balti municipality. A 28-year-old man is suspected of stabbing his wife to death with a kitchen knife in the street, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to the Ministry of the Interior, on July 20 dwellers of an apartment building situated on Bulgara St in Balti informed the police that the body of a woman was lying on the street. The husband of the 30-year-old victim is the main suspect in this case. Reportedly, that evening the woman was returning home from the shop. She met her husband on the way and they started to quarrel. As a result, the man stabbed her two times. The woman died on the spot. The suspect ran home and hid the murder weapon. The man is under arrest. If he is found guilty of intentional murder, he will serve up to 25 years in jail. The man said he regrets his acts, but cannot explain his violent reaction.
