A 42-year-old man from Soldanesti district is suspected of stabbing his mother to death. One day earlier, he tried to set fire to the house. Soldanesti commissioner Anatolie Lisnic has told Info-Prim Neo that the man recently received treatment at the Psychiatric Hospital in Orhei district. A quarrel started between him and his mother and he stabbed the woman in the heart with a chisel. According to the police, one day earlier the man attempted to set the house on fire. The mother and son lived together. The suspect put up resistance during the arrest. He will be subjected to medical examination. If he is found guilty of intentional murder, the man will serve 8 to 15 years in jail.
