Two young men aged 25 and 27 from Cimislia district are suspected of shooting dead a man while illegally hunting, IPN has learned from the General Police Inspectorate.

The body of the 46-year-old man from Albina village was found in a forest strip near Mereni village of Cimislia district. The medical examiner established that this died from a head bullet wound. The police started a criminal case over murder.

Following investigations, it was established that the suspects accidentally shot the man, mixing him up with an animal, while poaching in the forest strip between Albina and Mereni villages on September 30. They left the scene. On October 25, one of the suspects was arrested, while the other one is investigated outside remand.
