Man killed by co-villager with a chair

A man from Iablona village of Glodeni district was killed by a co-villager after they drank alcohol together. Prosecutor Ruslan Canila from Glodeni has told Info-Prim Neo that the suspect came to the man on a visit. After a quarrel, they started to fight. Allegedly, the fatal blow to the victim was made with a chair.
According to investigators, the body was discovered by the man’s mother. The medical examiners established the man died as a result of serious injuries to the head – closed cerebral traumas. The man did not die immediately, but in several hours. Supposedly, the attacker slept in the same house.
The suspect faces up to 15 years behind bars.
