A 54-year-old man was sentenced to 11 years in prison after he was found guilty of raping a minor girl in a public toilet on the territory of a train station, IPN reports.

According to the indictment, on the evening of August 19, 2024, the defendant, being under the influence of alcohol, forced the minor to have sexual intercourse, hitting her and threatening her with a knife.

According to the recently pronounced sentence, which is not final, the man will serve his sentence in a semi-closed penitentiary.

Any sexual offense against a person who has not reached the age of 16 is punished criminally.
