A 40-year-old man died in hospital after he fell from a building site on Sprîncenoaia Street in the capital on the night of January 1. The information was confirmed to IPN by Natalia Stati, head of the press service of the Chisinau Police Department.
The task force of the Center Police Inspectorate went to the construction site, which was alerted about the incident via 112.
The man who fell from a height was picked up by an ambulance and rushed to hospital, but died of trauma.
Police have opened an investigation into the case to establish the exact causes and circumstances.
