Maib shapes the next generation of innovators as the Platinum Partner of the “Tekwill Junior Ambassadors” competition

Maib and Tekwill join efforts to bring innovation closer to students. By supporting the largest STEM competition in the Republic of Moldova, maib inspires thousands of students and teachers to create innovative digital solutions with a social impact. Over the past four editions, more than 5,000 students and 600 teachers have demonstrated that Moldova is a HUB for creativity and exceptional talent, showing that progress is driven by involving the TEK generation in developing their communities.

As a Platinum Partner, maib assumes a strategic engagement in supporting STEM and financial education in schools and developing practical skills in young people. Maib's involvement is an example of leadership and corporate social responsibility towards the future of the next generation.

Financial education for youth

As part of the partnership, maib will organize financial education workshops for young people in addition to the program activities. In the 2025 edition, ten schools from the municipality of Chișinău will benefit from these interactive sessions, which will cover essential topics such as personal budget management, financial planning, and the importance of saving. Furthermore, the training will integrate information technologies, involving in the Aleg Cariera IT campaign to encourage young people to explore career opportunities in the IT field. The training sessions will focus on developing essential financial skills for a successful career, complementing the educational offer with financial education modules. Students will learn to manage a personal budget, set financial goals, and make informed decisions regarding saving and investing. Additionally, they will participate in interactive sessions with financial experts from maib, who will provide practical strategies for managing funds personally and professionally. The collaboration between Tekwill în Fiecare Școală and maib aims to support young people in developing the digital skills required by the labour market and the fundamental financial knowledge necessary for adopting responsible thinking. The educational institutions that will benefit from these financial education training sessions will be selected through the Aleg Cariera IT program.

About the “Tekwill Junior Ambassadors” Competition

The Tekwill Junior Ambassadors" competition is organized by the Moldovan Association of ICT Companies and Tekwill within the "Tekwill în Fiecare Școală" Program. The competition is run in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova, with financial support from the European Union and Sweden.

In the competition, students are challenged to develop products with a social impact for Moldovan small and medium-sized businesses, tourist destinations, and non-profit organizations, including websites, AI solutions, mobile apps, and visual branding.

The contest aims to develop digital and creative skills among students, emphasizing innovative ideas with social impact for the community, increasing interest in IT disciplines and supporting young, talented people from Moldova.
