Maia Sandu goes to Brussels

President Maia Sandu is on a working visit to Brussels. From December 10-11, she will meet with the new leadership of the European institutions. According to the press service of the presidential institution, the President will discuss the integration of Moldova's economy into the European single market, attracting investments, financing infrastructure projects and supporting small and medium-sized enterprises, IPN reports.

Also on the agenda for the visit are the continuation of judicial reforms, the fight against corruption and the strengthening of the rule of law. President Sandu will also focus on energy security and ensuring stable energy sources for all inhabitants.

Maia Sandu will hold talks with the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, the President of the European Council, António Costa, the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, and the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas. A meeting with the Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, Mark Rutte, is also planned.
