President Maia Sandu came with a reaction after a Russian missile flew over Moldova's airspace. In a message on social network X, the head of state said that Russia's actions clearly violate international law.
"While our countries are celebrating Christmas, the Kremlin chooses destruction, targeting Ukraine's energy infrastructure and violating Moldova's airspace with a missile. Moldova condemns these acts and stands in full solidarity with Ukraine", Maia Sandu wrote.
A Russian missile flew over Moldova's airspace this morning. The information was confirmed by the Border Police. According to the information, one of the missiles launched by Russia was spotted by a patrol on the Iampol-Cosăuți direction. Subsequently, one of the missiles crossed the airspace of the Republic of Moldova in the Otaci-Moghilev Podilsk area and exited through the border with Romania, in the Dorohoi-Herța area.
