The persons who suffer from diseases of the urinary system will be able to receive treatment at the Litotricia and Endourology Center that was opened at the National Clinical Hospital, Info-Prim Neo reports. In a communiqué, the Ministry of Health says the Center is equipped with litotriptor – a modern apparatus for non-invasively treating urolithiasis, which stimulates fast recovery. In the future, the Center will be outfitted with other modern equipment for complex endourological treatment. More than 700 patients will be yearly treated at the Litotricia and Endourology Center. The apparatus was purchased with money from the Development Fund of the National Health Insurance Company and with the own resources of the National Clinical Hospital. It cost about 4.9 million lei.
