Liabilities owed by companies to Social Insurance Budget constitute over 200m lei
Liabilities owed by corporate taxpayers to the State Social Insurance Budget for 2008 constituted more than 200 million lei, excluding debt accrued in December, with total debt amounting to 700 million lei, Info-Prim Neo reports.
This information was presented at a Cabinet's sitting by Maria Borta, head of the National Social Insurance Corporation (CNAS).
Prime Minister Zinaida Greceanyi instructed the Ministry of Finance, in cooperation with the Main Tax Inspectorate, to work intenser with the CNAS staff, the National Mandatory Health Insurance Company, to fulfill the revenue target for the National State Budget. In particular, the prime minister insisted the practice of inviting indebted corporate taxpayers to weekly meetings for discussions should be resumed.
