School and kindergarten directors will complete necessary reports and documentation through the Educational Management Information System (SIME). Additionally, several mandatory documents for reporting in early education institutions will be eliminated. This is the second package of measures for bureaucracy reduction from the Ministry of Education and Research, which is set to be launched in 2025, IPN reports.
Another important aspect is the creation of approximately 8,750 daily teaching plans for school subjects at the primary, secondary, and high school levels.
Minister of Education and Research, Dan Perciun, mentioned that these measures aim to reduce the administrative burden on teachers and school managers, allowing them to focus more on the educational process and the development of students' skills.
"Less time for paperwork means more time for children, that is, more time for preparing teachers for lessons and interacting with students. This initiative continues the one launched by the Ministry of Education and Research in 2024, which led to the elimination of the obligation to report on dozens of documents", the minister emphasized.
The first package of bureaucracy reduction measures, launched last year, instituted a moratorium on external inspections in schools and kindergartens. The external evaluation process, carried out by the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education and Research for general education, was suspended. At the same time, the obligation to report the use of compensation for teaching materials was eliminated.
