A state-of-the-art ultrasound machine has been installed at the Leova Health Center. It was purchased thanks to a $53,567 grant provided by the Government of Japan under the Kusanone Human Security Grant Program.
According to the Ministry of Health, the machine will improve the quality of medical services and facilitate early detection of diseases.
An electric generator was also purchased from the project’s money to ensure uninterrupted medical services regardless of technical conditions.
The Moldovan healthcare system has been receiving non-refundable financial assistance within the Kusanone Program since 2008. The initiative aims to improve the provision of modern and accessible medical services, strengthening diagnostic and treatment capacities.
