Leogrand Hotel & Convention Center and Shopping MallDova are “challenging” artists to the 7th SummArt Painters ’Campus, which take places during August 2-8 in Chisinau, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting Shopping MallDova's spokesperson Irina Ghelbur. This year’s creation theme is “Challenge”. 15 artists from Moldova and abroad are meeting in Chisinau to show their talent, exchange experience and techniques and establish cultural and friendly relations. For seven days masters will paint in a vast studio arranged at the ground hall of the commercial center Shopping MallDova. The campus will provide an excellent opportunity for all visitors to participate in the creation of artworks and to observe the painting process in progress. The international art symposium SummArt Painter’s Campus is organized annually by LEOGRAND Hotel & Convention Center and has become an important event for the community of painters, experts, art lovers and collectors. The painting campus is only the first step of the project, which will be followed in fall by an auction of paintings created during the symposium. All the money raised at the auction will be donated to Igor Vieru Lyceum of Fine Arts. This is the second time that the commercial center Shopping MallDova hosts the event. According to Irina Ghelbur, media representatives will have a unique opportunity to converse with the participating artsists at their hearts' content on Thursday, August 5, beginning at 11:00.
