Stanislav Ciobanu told a press conference on Wednesday that he himself had a bad experience with the airline, having to spend 16 hours airport. The lawyer says he contacted the company 12 hours before his flight to find out whether it would be delayed or cancelled. He was told that the flight would be on schedule, but when he arrived at the airport there were “delays after delays”.
According to the lawyer, even when the company already knew that the flights would not happen, they did not take the necessary actions to inform the passengers. The lawyer says that he has met people at the airport who have been there for over 30 hours and had to sleep on the floor.
“FlyOne has not fulfilled its communication obligations. The legal framework describes how parties must behave in a legal relationship and it is based on good faith, honesty, fairness. This is a systemic attitude by the airline towards its customers”, said Ciobanu.
