The Directorate for Language Promotion and Teaching of the Latin Union has donated a didactic mini-library in Spanish to the Chisinau-based high school Miguel de Cervantes via its bureau in Moldova. The cache includes 59 books of grammar, exercises and communication for teachers of the lycee and interested pupils. The French Alliance in Moldova has hosted the Spanish methodical mini-library was hosted since 1999. The decision to transfer the book collection to the Chisinau-based lycee Liceul Miguel de Cervantes was taken after a request from institution directorate. Teachers from this lycee face professional difficulties related to shortage of handbooks, didactic support and Spanish literature. The donation is part of activities of the Latin Union aimed at use and promotion of studying of neo-Latin languages at school and university institutions.
