Eligible consumers registered in the "Meter Help" program will receive the last compensations for heat the current cold season on April 10. These will be granted for the month of March, which closes the 2024-2025 heating season, IPN reports.

Minister of Labor and Social Protection Alexei Buzu in the Cabinet’s meeting said that there are over 720,000 families who benefit from heat compensations that this year are transferred to cards or can be collected from the post office.

Also, the minister stressed that with the generous support of the European Union, the Government offers electricity compensations to all families in the Republic of Moldova.

"We will cover the increase in charges for 110 kWh consumed a month. The period for which we will grant these compensations is February-December 2025," said Alexei Buzu.
