Kuciuk back in charge of Sheriff
Former coach of Sheriff Tiraspol Leonid Kuciuk has returned to the Moldovan champions. The Belarus tactician has been appointed sporting director, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Over the last months, Kuciuk has coached Saliut Belgorod in the Russian second league.
Leonid Kuciuk has been in charge of Sheriff for 6 years, since January 2004. During his stint as a coach, Sheriff won 6 league titles, 3 Cups and Super Cups and the CIS Cup in 2009. The same year, Sheriff reached the Europa League group stage after being close to a Champions League qualification.
At the end of season, Kuciuk was named manager of the year in Moldova.
