Klimenko requests Government to return money given to Pisari family
Valery Klimenko, the chairman of the Movement “Ravnopravie” and representative of the Russian national minority in Moldova, demands that the Government return into the budget the 100,000 lei provided to the Pisari family for the funeral of the young man who was shot by a Russian peacekeeper on January 1, Info-Prim Neo reports.
“The peacekeeper acted correctly. He fired at the wheels of a car driven by a man who refused to stop at the peacekeeping post. The driver was under the influence and was wounded accidentally, but he died as a result of the doctors’ inaction,” Valery Klimenko said.
He urged the ministers to collect money and pay it back into the budget. “This money can be given to persons affected by natural disasters,” he stated.
Asked to comment on Valery Klimenko’s statements, the Premier’s spokesman Igor Volnitski said that what happened on January 1 is a too serious tragedy for the political leaders to speculate on it.
Vadim Pisari from Pirita village of Dubasari district was wounded fatally at the peacekeeping post set up near Vadul lui Voda. He died in the hospital several hours later.
