The preliminary hearings scheduled for today in the legal case of the former General Mayor, Serafim Urecheanu, suspected of exceeding his work attributions when purchasing the ambulances for the Emergency Hospital, were postponed until September 20. One of the reasons claimed for the third postponement is that one of the judges, member of the panel of judges – Geta Kistol is on a sick leave. The chairman of the hearing, Nadejda Mazur, communicated for Info-Prim Neo that starting with Tuesday the prosecutor will leave on a legal vacation and after all three of the judges will follow. After them the lawyer will go on leave. So, the preliminary hearings in the legal case of Urecheanu are to take place on September 20. Previously Urecheanu declared for Info-Prim Neo that after the communists took power, numerous controls took place, but none revealed any law infringements when buying the ambulances.
