The journalist Alexei Lungu is launching a new political party called „Șansa”, Romanian for “chance”. “Moldova has a new chance that should not be missed”, declared the journalist-turned-politician during a press conference.
According to Lungu, “the party will work for the development of the country, given that the politicians who promised to create a better life in the country did not do so”. Lungu believes that “people should not go east or west and beg for money, no matter what the conditions are, but investors should be brought into concrete projects instead. It is necessary to demonstrate to investors that justice is not a tool used for political vendettas. And the Șansa party promises to deliver this”.
Lungu added that Șansa is open to cooperate with any party willing to contribute to the growth of the country.
Attending the press conference, Pavel Verejan, member of the recently declared unconstitutional Shor Party, says the team of Ilan Shor is fully supporting Alexei Lungu and the Șansa Party.
