General Secretary of EU Council, the high representative for external Policy and Joint Security, Javier Solana, will make on Thursday, 2 March, a short visit to Moldova, according to MAEIE report. The European official during his visit will meet with Vladimir Voronin, Moldova’s president. Last visit of Javier Solana to Moldova took place on 30 November 2005, when he participated in opening of the European Union Office (EU) for Monitoring Moldovan-Ukrainian Forntier, in Odessa.
