Ivan Tabanov is the new coach of Saxan. He replaced Oleg Fistican, who decided to take over the national Under-19 football team of Moldova, IPN reports.
Since August 2016, Tabanov has served as the sports director of the team from Ciadar Lunga. He also worked at Saxan in 2011, as vice president. Tabanov began his career of coach at Zimbru. Afterward, the 50-year-old coach trained the Baltic teams Taurus (Lithuania) and Daugava (Latvia).
He will make his debut as a coach at Saxan on March 1, when the team meets at home Zimbru. Saxan ranks last after the first half of the championship, with only eight points.
