Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Iurie Leanca will be paying a working visit to Moscow on May 27-28, at the invitation of his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov. In a news conference on May 26, Leanca said the topics that will be discussed in Moscow include the bilateral political and commercial relations and the Transnistrian dispute, Info-Prim Neo reports. The minister said he will reiterate the official Chisinau's wish to have good relations based on mutual understating and respect with Moscow. “In the meeting with Mr Lavrov, we will discuss the major problems in the bilateral relations and will set the objectives of the commercial dialogue,” Iurie Leanca said. “It is true that our opinions diverge on a number of issues. Certainly, we will also discuss the Transnistrian issue.” Iurie Leanca said that in Moscow he will have meetings with a number of Russian officials and representatives of the academic circles. Afterward, Iurie Leanca will pay working visits to Egypt and France.
