The leader of PSD Romania in the Republic of Moldova Iurie Ciocan, the candidate of the Social Democrats in the parliamentary elections of December 1, addressed a message to the Romanian citizens from the left bank of the Prut, who voted in Sunday's presidential election. The politician thanked them for their massive participation in the elections and drew their attention to the upcoming parliamentary elections, urging them to support him so that he has his own voice in the Romanian legislature, IPN reports.
"By the unprecedented mobilization in Romania’s presidential election, we showed that we are not just statistical figures, but are real citizens, who participate directly in the sociopolitical life of the country and who have a say in key moments. And this is extremely important," said Iurie Ciocan.
He expressed his gratitude to the citizens who voted for Marcel Ciolacu and the Social Democratic Party. "It is a mature and responsible vote, which reflects deep understanding of the realities in which we live. This vote shows that many people are aware of how important it is for the bridges we have started to build between Bucharest and Chisinau to be preserved and strengthened," said the Social Democrats' candidate in the Romanian parliamentary elections of December 1.
Iurie Ciocan reminded the voters with Romanian citizenship that, in less than a week, parliamentary elections will be held and many things depend on the result of this ballot. "Do not keep your hands down; mobilize in even greater numbers. The Romanians in the Republic of Moldova must have direct representation in the Romanian Parliament. There are too many of us for us not to have a voice that speaks there on our behalf," stated the leader of PSD Romania in Moldova.
