According to the Moldovan Foreign Ministry, Franco Frattini will meet his counterpart and President Vladimir Voronin. Recently, Stefania Di Carlo, Italy's vice ambassador to Chisinau, said the official inauguration of the Italian embassy to Chisinau will take place on January 2, 2009. On November 3, the Moldovan Foreign Ministry's press unit reported that Stefano De Leo presented his Italian ambassadorial credentials to Foreign Minister Andrei Stratan.
