A Day Care Centre, for spiritual and physical rehabilitation of lonely persons, ill and disabled ones, was open today in the Jewish Culture Centre KEDEM. According to manager of the Centre, Eleonora Leoschevici, from now on many vulnerable persons, single persons, regardless of their nationality and faith, will find in this Centre support, medical consultations, will participate in rehabilitation programs and cultural ones, will have two meals a day. Eleonora Leoschevici mentioned that in Day Care Centre persons of different ages, nationalities and faith would have access. Advertisement manager of the Centre KEDEM, Maria Turculet, noted that the Centre is the second in this sense and is open due to Public Organisation of the Jewish Centre Hasad Ieguda and of the Social Assistance Society Acasa. The executive manager of the association Acasa, Felicia Cretu, but as well the manager of the Centre Hasad Ieguda, Alexandru Filipov, mentioned the importance of the Centre for spiritual rehabilitation of vulnerable persons and promised support for its activity. The deputy mayor, Fiodor Negru, present at the opening, said that a nation that has no history has no future, so the future will be based on history of persons present in the room. He promised that local public authorities would do their best that the Centre would work and accommodate different persons, improve its quality and services. The first group that benefits from this Centre participated during the day in many activities, including the opening event of the Centre, the participants and the guest marked this event by dancing. Opening of the Day Care Centre for rehabilitation of different persons is done during Jewish holiday Purim.
