The "Heart of Moldova" party, led by the ex-Bashkan of Gagauzia Irina Vlah, will be a center-left party based on a conservative doctrine. The party's program will contain some of the provisions of the program with which Irina Vlah contended as an independent candidate in the presidential election. According to Vlah, "the program was widely consulted with the citizens and represented their views on solutions that are needed to the problems faced by the Republic of Moldova." The party is to be officially registered with the Public Services Agency. Irina Vlah spoke about the establishment of the Republican Party "Heart of Moldova" at a briefing held at IPN.
The statute, the party's program, the nominal composition of the National Political Council, as well as a special resolution were approved at the Congress on the establishment of the Republican Party "Heart of Moldova" on Saturday, November 16. The meeting was attended by 272 delegations from 22 districts. As many as 1,191 citizens of the Republic of Moldova have become party members and local organizations have been created in 22 districts, announced Irina Vlah.
"The next step we will take will be to submit the set of documents required by the current legislation to the Public Services Agency to have the party registered. Immediately after the official registration of the Republican Party "Heart of Moldova", we will start an extensive building process on the inside. Our goal is to have a structure that is as branched, functional and efficient as possible, and this objective must be achieved as quickly as possible," said Irina Vlah.
The primary objectives of the program are to ensure peace, as an absolute priority, to stop the demographic crisis, to go back from dictatorship to democracy, to pursue a balanced foreign policy based on the interests of the state, to ensure independent and professional justice, a real fight against corruption, to have an economy based on investments, on clear and stimulating rules of the game, an efficient social protection system, a new approaches in healthcare, education and culture, to ensure the settlement of the Transnistrian conflict, noted the leader of the new party.
"We have visions, have capacities and have the sincere desire to save the Republic of Moldova. Our country can and must be saved. And we will do this," assured Irina Vlah.
