First Parliament MP Valentin Dolganiuc is of the opinion that at present no unionist party can engender the mindset that existed in 1989-1990 in the society, while political analyst Anatol Taranu argues that the “existence of several parties representing the unionism supporters does not favour the electoral result for this segment. In his opinion, this formula will not get us too far and the Unionist forces must coagulate”. At the same time the chairman of the Romanian Popular Party Vlad Turcanu claims that the Unionist forces will never coagulate. "We tried to talk to their leaders. Firstly, egos prevail, secondly, there are leaders in this segment who have the mission to keep this electorate in a disorganized state,” says the politician.

The Ecological Green Party (PVE) officially announces its opposition to the current governing alliance and claims that it will constantly provide objective information on the anti-ecological attitudes of Moldovan governance to the society and European environmentalist partners, including members of the European Parliament. In a letter offered to the media, green environmentalists maintain that the situation created in the capital is a warning signal that ecological issues are beginning to surface, "even if previous governments have swept them under the rug." According to the PVE, no attempt has been made to strengthen a priority area for the entire Europe and civilized world - environment protection. The Ecological Green Party is part of the European Green family, which holds 74 seats in the European Parliament.

At a press conference held after the meeting with Joseph Daul, PPE President, Prime Minister Maia Sandu gave her assurance to both the citizens of the Republic of Moldova and the states of the European Union that the Government was determined to meet its commitments. In his turn, Joseph Daul mentioned that it was very difficult when corruption reigned over the country. Joseph Daul also specified that in the Republic of Moldova it was necessary to look for people who could assume responsibility for the changes required in the justice system. "This new change in Chisinau brings a lot of hope, but also generates expectations. You must know that 100 days with a new government cannot change what has been destroyed and corrupted for years. The fight against corruption, an independent justice system and respect for the rule of law requires much work, from many directions," added Joseph Daul.

Between June 8 -14, 2019, the Democratic Party made a political, not a legal, mistake. Then the decisions of the Constitutional Court were effective and the PDM complied with them. The former prime minister Pavel Filip argues that the Moldovan justice easily favours those who have access to governance. According to him, it is impossible to control every prosecutor or every judge. The Democrat says that it is strange how the judicial system tackled certain cases sending them for re-examination or closing them after the change of power. "How come that when one party is in power cases are ruled on in one way and while there is another ruling party – in a quite different way? I believe that when we find the true answer to this question, we will have a fair justice system in the Republic of Moldova,” says Pavel Filip.

The President of the Parliament Committee for national security, defence and public order, Chiril Moţpan, says that, from his point of view, "on September 6, 2018, in Moldova, a kidnapping took place, which was a criminal action committed with the approval of some state dignitaries and the involvement of state bodies”. According to Chiril Moţpan, during committee hearings, Alexandru Baltaga, former deputy director of the Information and Security Service, said that the expulsion of the Turkish citizens was ordered by Vasile Botnari, SIS director at that time. In turn, Vasile Botnari stated during the same hearing that he takes full responsibility for the committed actions.

ACUM bloc is urged to support an apolitical, joint candidate of pro-European and Unionist forces for the capital's City hall. "We have learned that the people who run for the mayoral office have legal studies, are historians, mathematicians, political scientists. How can people with such studies manage a city like Chisinau? No person without experience in top management positions will face the huge amount of work”, specified Alexandru Gamanji, deputy chairman of PRO Movement.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Nicu Popescu, argues that the contract for gas delivery between the Russian Federation of Moldova is being negotiated, given the president's visit to Moscow and Brussels. "The energy security equation consists not only of Russian gas, but also of our ability as a government and a country to look for alternatives in case certain problems arise". The minister says that Moldova has several scenarios of potential alternative solutions to ensure the continuous flow of gas to the country. It will be determined in the near future if the implementation of these scenarios is necessary. In other news, the foreign minister said that the solution to the Transnistrian conflict can only be political and that Moldova has clear preferences regarding the regulation of the Transnistrian issue. "We do not want federalization or foreign troops on the territory of the country, nor do we want to change and revise the basic principles regarding the functioning of the country, such as democracy and foreign policy", said Nicu Popescu.

The authorities must take action in order to stop the illegalities identified by the Court of Audits in Chisinau’s suburban commune of Budești. In a press conference, Igor Blanari, the lawyer of the Legal Consultancy Company Juststudiumanima, said that state authorities were not notified of loses worth 100 million lei identified by an audit conducted at the town hall. The Court of Audits only notified the local council and the Budești town hall, but did not notify state authorities. "Because state authorities were not notified, we observed in the Budești community an interference in the management of local assets and the promotion of private interests", said the lawyer.
