Ion Ceban, the PSRM candidate for mayor of the capital, said that he will advocate for a three-fold increase in allowances for the suburbs of Chișinău, when he becomes mayor. This will allow to create "really comfortable conditions for all residents".

Ion Ceban, said that over the course of the last 4 years, along with colleagues from other parties, he helped direct 391 million lei to various projects in the capital's suburbs. The investment is four times larger than investments from previous cycles.

Ion Ceban wants the suburbs to become residential areas, "similar to other big capitals". He claimed that a project that facilitates the procedure of land conversion from agricultural to construction land is underway. The project aims to offer young families land for homes in the suburbs.

In other news, Ion Ceban responded to accusations regarding undeclared expenditures for street advertisement. He said that he chose to promote himself in the election campaign via billboards, because street advertising is cheaper than TV advertising. He added that he pays for street advertising in installments.
