After processing 300 protocols out of a total of 307, preliminary data shows that Ion Ceban, PSRM candidate, obtained 52.82% of the votes in the capital, while Andrei Năstase, ACUM bloc mayoral hopeful, got 47.18% of the votes.
According to data from the Central Electoral Commission website, Ion Ceban was voted by 121 thousand residents of Chișinău, while 108 thousand voted for Andrei Năstase.
Voter turnout at the second round of mayoral local elections in Chișinău municipality was almost 38%.
