The Government approved amendments and supplements to the regulations concerning the issuing of invitations to foreigners. The applicants will be able to submit the application online and to obtain the necessary document in an electronic format, IPN reports.
In order to apply for a short-stay visa intended for citizens of other states, the private individuals with permanent or temporary domicile in Moldova or legal entities will submit an application and the documents specified in the regulations in a digital format. These will be stored and managed by the competent authority for foreigners. As a result of examination, the electronic invitation or refusal will be sent to the applicant to the indicated email address.
Currently, the citizens of 85 states need to obtain invitations to apply for entry visas for Moldova.
