The capital’s City Hall has launched the online platform "Chisinau Municipality – Investment Opportunities." This new tool is designed for both public and private sector representatives in Chisinau, allowing them to create investment project profiles and publish them via the municipality’s website, IPN reports.
During the presentation event, Deputy Mayor Olga Ursu noted that the municipality had already developed an investment map in 2022, featuring over 60 investment profiles across various sectors.
"Now we want to expand this platform and reshape it so that the business community can also showcase its investment opportunities. This platform aims to connect potential investors or those willing to invest with what the local public authority has to offer, as well as with businesses that have multiple investment opportunities and proposals," stated the Deputy Mayor.
In this context, Roman Vitiuc, Head of the General Directorate for Economy, Trade, and Tourism, highlighted that the new platform was designed from the ground up. The tool enables the automatic generation of investment profiles (previously placed on the 2022 investment map), and with this digital instrument, profiles can be updated in real time.
The platform’s functionality for creating and publishing investment projects is divided into two main sections: the public (municipal) sector and the private sector. Additionally, the process of filling out and "automatically generating" an Investment Profile follows a standardized approach.
The submission of investment proposals/projects will be carried out by registered public or private sector representatives using a simplified and user-friendly mechanism.
The publication of Investment Profiles will be managed by an authorized administrator, who will verify the content of each investment proposal or project before approval.
