A resident of Puhoi village of Ialoveni district Gheorghe Toma said he is blackmailed in the name of PAS candidate for MP Petru Frunze and by other persons from the neighboring village Țipala. The man noted he has fear for his safety and the safety of his family.

In a press briefing at IPN, Gheorghe Toma related that in 2006, he was attacked by Petru Frunze and another villager, Ghenadie Bârcă. He said he wants justice to be done to him and he does not want Petru Frunze to become an MP.

In 2006, he was beaten and his necklace was damaged. He was dispossessed of his wallet. “Someone brought me home covered in blood. I could not see with one eye,” stated Gheorghe Toma

According to the man, when his state of health started to worsen, his relatives decided to take him to the hospital. “I have evidence, all the hospital documents and I also have the application written by Petru Frunze and Ghenadie Bârcă, by which they assumed responsibility for covering the costs of my treatment until I get well,” said Gheorghe Toma.

He also said that in 2019, the notes were published on telegraph.md. Petru Frunze came to his workplace to tell him that he is not blame, but is ready to help him with money and then started to avoid him. He went to the PAS to ask that Petru Frunze should be held accountable. “We want justice to be done and this candidate should not enter the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova so that we are not afraid to leave home after the elections. We want justice to be done, but nothing has been done so far,” noted Gheorghe Toma.
