The access to information about the founders of companies registered in Moldova will be free and public. The data will be available from the governmental portal www.date.gov.md starting with this April and will be updated monthly. An order to this effect was made by Prime Minister Chiril Gaburici, IPN reports.
“Such a measure will reduce the acts of corruption and protectionism and will ensure a high level of confidence in the business sector of our country, both on the part of the national investors and the foreign ones,” stated Chiril Gaburici.
From April, the portal www.date.gov.md will also provide information about the areas of activity and licensed activities of the legal entries of Moldova.
There are about 204,000 companies registered in Moldova. Of them, 172,000 are active.
