The companies authorized to import, store and sell pyrotechnic articles must own a pyrotechnics license issued by the Ministry of the Interior. A bill to this effect was passed by the MPs in the final reading, IPN reports.

The Ministry of the Interior will issue the pyrotechnics license, authorizations for the production, storing, packing and sale of pyrotechnic articles and authorizations for setting off fireworks in public places using professional pyrotechnic products. The documents will be issued free of charge.

In Moldova there are 20 companies authorized to import, store and sell pyrotechnic articles.
