Imperialist movement vs. NGOs. Op-Ed by Victor Pelin

„..it is recommendable that the over 14,000 NGOs featured in the mentioned scientific work identify in electronic networks by one citation about members and experts of the Izborsk Club, who constituted the Russian imperialist movement and its branch in Moldova, making a compilation stuffed with references so as to give it a scientific character...”

Confrontation that didn’t take place

The long-awaited confrontation between the Moldovan branch of the Russian imperialist movement and NGOs didn’t take place. There are two explanations that can shed light on the loss of interest in this confrontation. The first explanation is that the parody entitled “Civil Society in the Republic of Moldova: Sponsors. NGOcracy. Cultural Wars”, which the author calls a scientific work, has 856 pages and is accompanied by 1,500 references. We should be sincere – not many would resists to read such a work written during 20 years. Moreover, we know from the own experience that there are no other more boring things in this world than the scientific works.

To understand how hard it is to assimilate such a large volume of scientific information, we should compare this work with a well-known piece of writing. If we refer to the time devoted by the author to the writing of the book, we can compare the volume dedicated to the NGOs with the famous work of Charles Darwin “On the Origin of Species”. Regrettably, we must admit from the start that this comparison is not in favor of Darwin’s
book that has only 502 pages and a number of references that is at least ten times lower. So, the author of the theory of evolution loses the scientific competition to the theoretician of the postmodernist conspiracy.

The second factor that prevented a confrontation between the Russian imperialist movement and NGOs was the distraction of public attention. This is due to the candidate for President of Moldova Renato Usatyi, who generated two resonant events: meetings with challenger Igor Dodon,
in Fălești and in the studio of ProTV, right in the period when the interest in the confrontation between the imperialists and NGOs was to reach its height.

About scientific research method

It would a big pity not to enjoy a confrontation between the representatives of the two camps. That’s why, while still waiting for this, it is important to cultivate the citizens’ love for leanings scientific truths, combating this way boredom. It is well-known that any scientific research starts with the identification of the methodology. There is no use inventing something new. We can use the methodology of the Head of the Moldovan branch of the Russian imperialist movement (Head): a) we find two assertions in the press; b) we indicate the name of authors and references; c) we contrast things and obtain the scientific truth:

  • The Head was the propagandist of Vlad Filat ( author of the assertion – Mark Tcachuk, doctor of history and archeology, here is the reference);

  • The Head is the main agitator and propagandist of Dodon and PSRM (author – Eduard Volcov, doctor of sociology, here is the reference);

  • The Head evolved or regressed from the status of propagandist of the pro-European Vlad Filat to that of propagandist of the Eurasian Igor Dodon (author – Victor Pelin, MBA).

Let someone challenge this truth now. They will have their teeth destroyed! One more thing should be noted here, that the aforementioned truth was discovered not by the method of formal logic, but by the method of dialectical logic that is preferable in the evolutionist processes described by Darwin. But the point is the discovered truth is absolutely useless. Who doesn’t know that the Head is a propagandist? The propagandists, by definition, serve not the truth, but the interests of those who pay, either Vlad Filat, Igor Dodon etc. Even so, no one should envy the Head for earning his living from propaganda or other sources. What is important is that he should justify his property. As far as we know, The Head cannot do this!

That’s why, while still waiting for the confrontation between the Russian imperialist movement and NGOs, the representative of the first should publish his financial reports. Public opinion knows only about the sources of financing – Priznanie Foundation, offshore Bahamas, Gazprom , Plahotniuc, Orthodox billionaire Malofeev etc., but does not have access to his financial reports to study them according to the aforementioned scientific methodology. Regrettably, without the financial reports, it will be hard to decide which of the two camps will emerge victorious in the long-awaited confrontation.

Recommendation

To bring the day of the decisive confrontation between the Russian imperialist movement and Moldovan NGOs closer, it is recommendable that the over 14,000 NGOs featured in the mentioned scientific work identify in electronic networks by one citation about members and experts of the Izborsk Club, who constituted the Russian imperialist movement and its branch in Moldova, making a compilation stuffed with references so as to give it a scientific character.

The comparison of the two works would help us to identify the winner. But we can intuit in advance who this will be. In fact, the activity of NGOs compared with that of the Russian imperialist movement that is involved, for example, in the war in Donbas, with the possibility of extension to the Republic of Moldova, lacks nerve and passion.
