Igor Dodon to meet Vladimir Putin today

Today, September 7, President Igor Dodon is on a working visit in Moscow with a view to meeting Russian President Vladimir Putin, IPN reports.

In a Facebook post, Igor Dodon, says he will discuss with the Russian President "the full range of Moldovan-Russian relations, including the issue of gas supply to the Republic of Moldova and its transit through Ukraine."

According to the president, the issue of developing bilateral trade and economic relations, the Transnistrian settlement and the foreign policy agenda of the Republic of Moldova will also be tackled.

Last time Igor Dodon was in Moscow on September 2, this year, where he had meetings with the Deputy Prime Minister, the special representative of the President of the Russian Federation for the development of trade-economic relations with the Republic of Moldova, Dmitri Kozak, with the President of the Board of Directors of "Gazprom" company Alexey Miller and other officials. Later, the President went to Brussels on a two-day visit, where he met several European officials, including the President of the European Parliament, David-Maria Sassoli and the European Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, Johannes Hahn.
