Igor Dodon on visit to Moscow
The Communist Party’s candidate for mayor general of Chisinau, Igor Dodon went to Moscow on a short visit on April 22, the PCRM’s press service has said, quoted by Info-Prim Neo.
According to the party, Igor Dodon will have a number of meetings with representatives of the Russian banking sector. The discussions will center on cooperation in the implementation of infrastructure-related projects that are necessary and important for Chisinau. There will be examined the possibilities and mechanisms for financing these projects, especially with representatives of Sberbank Rosii, it is said in a communiqué issued by the PCRM.
In the morning of the same day, asked by the press to say why Igor Dodon did not attend the ceremony to lay flowers at the monument to Lenin, which involved the PCRM’s team, the Communist leader Vladimir Voronin said he does not know the reasons, but presumes that Igor Dodon is discussing with the voters and fulfilling his election program.
