Igor Dodon - Moldova will not accept Russia’s adhesion to WTO, till the latter one does not cancel the restrictions to import of certain Moldovan goods

Moldova will not accept the adhesion of Russian Federation to World Trade Organization (WTO) until the latter one does not cancel the restrictions to import of certain Moldovan goods, the deputy minister of economics and commerce, Igor Dodon, said during the seminar "New EU generalizing preferential system, GSP Plus, and the National Strategy for Export Promotion". Dodon underlined that Moldova is for canceling the obstacles and interdictions of delivering Moldovan wines, vegetable and animal goods on Russian market. It is required as well the solving of the problem regarding VAT collection on Moldova’s territory and not of Russia’s. The obstacle problem imposed by Moscow in the commerce with Moldova was made public by Moldovan delegation at last negotiation round regarding Russia’s adhesion, held in Geneva. Ministry of Economics and Commerce will sent this week to its colleagues of Russia an official letter regarding the bilateral commerce and perspectives of solving the above mentioned. Georgia, USA, Australia and Columbia are against Russian’s adhesion to WTO.
