Lawmaker Igor Dodon, the Communist Party's candidate for the mayoralty of Chisinau, together with a group of young people representing a youth organization Thursday announced the launch of the social campaign “I Love Moldova”, Info-Prim Neo reports. The politician said that the given campaign is designed to strengthen the feeling of patriotism. “We are all citizens of Moldova, regardless of ethnicity. We are all proud that we are citizens of this country. We love Moldova and will make everything possible to cultivate the feeling of patriotism,” said Igor Dodon. He also said that he aims to extend the campaign so that it covers the entire Moldova and already gained the support of hundreds of young people and adults. The campaign was launched on April 7 not accidentally. “Two years ago, we all witnessed hatred and dismemberment actions in Chisinau. We think that it is now the right time to say “We Love Moldova”, “ said Igor Dodon. The MP was accompanied by members of the newly created youth organization “Da” (“Yes”) and artists who sang the song “People, people” in the campaign that preceded last year's legislative elections. The campaign “I Love Moldova” will last for an indefinite period. Its supporters said they will launch a number of patriotic songs and will distribute gratis T-shirts with the campaign's title all over the country.
