The police established the identity of the woman who was found dead in a drainage channel in Rascani district of Chisinau on November 21.

Press officer of the General Police Inspectorate Lucia Gnatiuc has told IPN that the young woman was 26. She was from Ialoveni district and didn’t have a permanent place of stay in the recent past. The medical-legal examination showed that the woman suffered from cirrhosis, but the cause of death is yet to be found out.

The drainage channel is located in a park on Branistii St, where the people often have picnics.
