Husband and wife discovered dead in house of relatives

A man and a woman from Baurci village of Ceadir-Lunga district were found dead in the house of relatives on November 9. Allegedly, the husband and wife, both aged 29, died from carbon monoxide poisoning, IPN reports.

According to sources in the local mayor’s office, the two looked after the house of their relatives. The couple had a six-year-old daughter, who was together with her grandparents.

The firefighting service warns that the stoves, autonomous heating systems and electrical devices can pose dangers if they are used incorrectly. The heating sources must be checked constantly and repaired if necessary. The homes need to be aired as often as possible, while the stoves must not be overheated so as to avoid carbon monoxide poisonings.
