Households who are currently hosting at least two refugees from Ukraine for a minimum period of one week can receive the one-off payment of 3,500 lei within the Cash Assistance for Host Communities Program. The persons need to register online on www.uahelp.md by filling out a form, IPN reports.

In the municipality of Chisinau, the City Hall chose five offices in each district of the capital city where persons can register independently: Botanica District Head’s Office (10 Teilor St), Buiucani District Head’s Office (2 Mihai Viteazul St), Centru District Head’s Office (43 Bulgară St), Ciocana District Head’s Office (4/3 Mircea cel Bătrân St), the temporary placement center for refugees Patria-Lukoil (7/5 Studenților St). The offices start work on April 18.

The persons can also use the hotline +373 60865841 (including Viber) to be helped to use the platform “uahelp.md” and to put questions, if necessary.

The cash assistance intervention mechanism was finalized by the Chisinau City Hall, the World Food Program, Changing LIVES saving LIVES and World Vision International.
