The Science Academy of Moldova celebrated through a scientific conference, the 70 years anniversary of the historian Demir Dragnev, a corresponding member and university teacher. At the conference organized on Wednesday, July 27 by the Department of Humanitarian Sciences and by the Institute of History, State and Law of SAM, the head of the Association of Historians of Moldova, Anatol Petrenco, mentioned that Demir Dragnev is one of the coauthors of history’s teaching concept and of the curriculum in the pre-higher education and one of the leaders of historians’ community of Moldova. Doctor of history, Gheorghe Postica emphasized that Dragnev is one of the pillars of the contemporaneous historiography of Moldova, one of the historians who promoted and continues to promote the national history, history of Romanians. Dr. Ion Ciuperca, university teacher at the University “Al. I. Cuza” in Iasi said that Dragnev has a remarkable experience in since, in organizing scientific researches and in teaching. He mentioned the fact that Dragnev establishes and maintains contacts with the scientific community of Romania (History Institute “A. D. Xenopol” in Iasi, history faculty of “Al, I. Cuza” University in Iasi, “N. Iorga” Institute in Bucharest, as well as with institutes from Germany, Poland, Ukraine, Russia etc.) The historian Demir Dragnev wrote about 270 scientific works, published independently or together with other authors, including 50 monographs, school-books, teaching materials, booklets etc.
