Head of Centru district recruited to Nicolae Timofti’s team
Ex-Minister of Justice Ion Paduraru, who is the dead of the Chisinau Bar Association, was named secretary general of the President’s apparatus, while the head of Chisinau’s Centru district Vladimir Sarban became deputy secretary general. Presidential decrees to this effect were issued on April 6, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The same day there were appointed two presidential advisers. Former MP Vladimir Ciobanu will advise the head of state on public administration and agro-industrial matters, while Vasile Sturza – on reintegration affairs. The latter was confirmed to this post. In 1994-1998 Vasile Sturza had served as Minister of Justice, while in 2000 – 2003 he had been the President’s representative to the talks centering on the Transnistrian settlements.
The decrees will take effect on April 9.
