The police discovered 5.9 kg of hashish in a vehicle coming from Spain. Seven persons were arrested. According to the police, the seven are members of an international network trafficking in drugs, IPN reports.

According to the General Police Inspectorate, the drugs were hidden in parcels. Following operative information, the police stopped the minibus for a check. Inside a boiler among parcels, they found 60 packs of hashish. On the black market, this quantity of drugs costs about 900,000 lei.

A criminal case was started over illegal distribution of drugs. If those arrested are found guilty, they will serve 7 to 15 years in jail.
