Temperatures are expected to decrease significantly next week. The State Hydrometeorology Service forecast ground frost for the night of September 24.

In central Moldova, nighttime temperature on September 23 will oscillate between 9 and 12 degrees Celsius, while daytime temperatures – between 15 and 18 degrees Celsius. On September 24, they will fall to 4 – 8 degrees Celsius at night, with ground frost, and 15 - 18 degrees Celsius during the day. Towards next weekend, daytime temperatures will rise to 19 - 22 degrees Celsius.

Contacted by IPN, the forecaster on duty at the State Hydrometeorology Service said such temperatures are normal for this period of the year.
